Jason Arnoldy

MANAGING PARTNER

Prior to forming Triten Energy Partners, Jason served as Vice President at Intervale Capital, where he was responsible for deal sourcing, execution and managing a portfolio of oilfield, midstream, and industrial services businesses. Additionally, he evaluated midstream and downstream platforms and oversaw Intervale’s venture portfolio, including investments in hydrocarbon processing and chemical production technologies.

Prior to working at Intervale, Jason co-founded Recapture Solutions, a midstream services business that offered modular gas processing to the E&P industry, which was sold to Intervale in August of 2014. He started his career as an analyst with Farallon Capital Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund, where he supported equity and debt investment strategies in the public and private sectors. Jason holds a BA in International Studies from the University of Denver.

Justin O’Rourke

PRINCIPAL, COMMERCIAL

Prior to joining TEP, Justin spent 16 years in the downstream and midstream sectors with BP, Chevron, and Honeywell UOP in a variety of technical, commercial, business development, and trading roles. Most recently Justin was a Biofuels and Low Carbon Commercial Lead at BP where he led efforts to expand the company’s production of renewable diesel, most notably by successfully doubling renewable diesel co-processing capacity at BP’s Cherry Point refinery. In his role at TEP as Principal, Commercial Justin is responsible for origination, diligence, commercial negotiations, and commercial oversight throughout the acquisition and project development lifecycle.

 Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and is in the process of completing a Masters in Sustainable Energy from Johns Hopkins University.

Jeff Nachenberg

SENIOR PROJECT DIRECTOR

Prior to joining Triten Energy Partners, Jeff spent 40 years in the energy and chemicals business with major EPC and operating companies, in roles which included process engineering, project engineering, and project management. Jeff has worked on projects in North America and internationally, with a variety of process technologies and project sizes. His leadership interests include coaching and mentoring, team-building, and advocating for safety. Prior to TEP, Jeff worked for Fluor, Lummus, Stone & Webster, and Exxon, all of which celebrated their 100-year anniversary during the term of his employment. Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana.

STONE RAMATOWSKI

ASSOCIATE

Stone joined Triten Energy Partners in 2022 as an Associate. In his role, Stone works with the Management Team supporting the underwriting and due diligence process for Triten’s projects. Prior to Triten, Stone spent three years as an analyst then associate at Tudor Pickering Holt & Co. (“TPH”), an energy-focused investment bank in Houston, TX. During his time at TPH, Stone performed financial analysis and coordinated closing due diligence on over $3 billion of transactions across the OFS, midstream and downstream sectors. Stone received his a BA in finance from Indiana University. Stone lives in Houston where he enjoys playing golf, cooking and spending time in nature.

Archana Pyatt

CHIEF OF STAFF

Archana is currently the Chief of Staff with Triten Corporation and will be supporting Triten Energy Partners in the same capacity. Prior to joining Triten, she was an entrepreneur and business owner. Before her time as a business owner and operator, Archana spent seven years at Goldman Sachs, first, as Chief Executive Assistant to former CEO & Chairman, Hank Paulson, before becoming a Senior Analyst during her final two years with the bank.

Ruth DreesseN

OPERATING PARTNER

Ms Dreessen has spent the better part of her career in the chemical and energy industries, with experience in investment banking, private equity and industry. She is currently Chairman of Gevo Inc. (GEVO:NASDAQ) a leading edge technology producer of biofuels and renewable chemicals.

Previously, Ms Dreessen served as a director of Andeavor Logistics LP, a leading mid-stream energy logistics company, Targa Resources Partners LP, Versar Inc., Westlake Chemical, Georgia Gulf Corp and US Silica.

Ms. Dreessen spent 21 years at JPMorgan Securities and predecessor companies ultimately as a Managing Director of investment banking to the chemical industry. Subsequently, she served as Senior Vice President and CFO of Westlake Chemical Corp.(WLK:NYSE), and then as Executive Vice President and CFO of TPC Group, Inc. Following TPC, she was Managing Director of Lion Chemical Partners, a private equity firm focused on the chemical industry.

Bill Baum

OPERATING PARTNER

Since January 2015, Mr. Baum has operated a consulting business advising small biofuel and renewable chemical companies on a variety of commercial matters.
Mr. Baum served as Chief Business Development Officer of Genomatica, Inc. from September 2010 until April 2014. From August 1997 to September 2010, Mr. Baum served in various roles at Diversa Corporation (now known as Verenium Corporation), a biotechnology company focused on the development of biofuels, including Vice President Sales and Marketing from August 1997 to November 1999, Senior Vice President, Business Development from November 1999 to July 2002 and Executive Vice President, Business Development from July 2002 to August 2010. Prior to joining Diversa, Mr. Baum served as the Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at International Specialty Products, Inc., a specialty chemicals company, and held a variety of executive positions, both in the United States and internationally, at Betz Laboratories, Inc., a specialty chemicals company. Mr. Baum currently serves as a director on the board of directors for Watt Companies, Inc., Leaf Resources Limited and Arzeda Corporation.

Tim Taylor

DIRECTOR

Tim Taylor retired as President of Phillips 66 in 2017, after having served as COO at CPChem and other senior management positions at Phillips 66, ChevronPhillips Chemical Company and Phillips Petroleum Company. He started his career with Texas Eastman Company as a process engineer in 1975 and joined Phillips in 1980. He held a number of marketing and business development roles before moving into general management roles in chemicals, midstream and refining.

Tim received his degree in chemical engineering from KSU in 1975, currently serves as a Director for the KSU Foundation and previously served on the engineering advisory council. He received the College of Engineering Distinguished Service Award and was inducted into the College of Engineering Hall of Fame. He is also a member of the College of Engineering’s Innovation and Inspiration Campaign steering committee. Taylor previously served on the Board of Directors of Colonial Pipeline Company, Explorer Pipeline and CPChem.

David Zimmerman

DIRECTOR

David Zimmerman retired from KBR after 40 years with the company. During his tenure, Mr. Zimmerman served in numerous executive management and leadership roles including, Group President (APAC), Group President (US Construction and Canada Operations), SVP of EPC and Services and VP of Worldwide Construction, among others. In addition to his role advising TEP, Mr. Zimmerman supports Industrial Maintenance International, a manpower resource supply company and was a Director on the Board of CIS, a global provider of capital project man-camp solutions in remote locations.

The success achieved throughout his career can be attributed to his drive for operational excellence and persistent commitment to developing high-performance teams. Mr. Zimmerman’s numerous roles managing complex refining, petrochemical and LNG/GTL projects provide valuable experience and know-how to support TEP’s strategic objectives.

Jason Downie

DIRECTOR

Mr. Downie has over 27 years of investment experience and co-founded Tailwater Capital. At Tailwater, Mr. Downie’s primary responsibilities include deal sourcing, execution, and monitoring of the Firm’s investments as well as management of the Firm. He currently serves as a Director of TexStar Midstream Logistics, Align Midstream Partners, Pivotal Petroleum Partners, Copperbeck Energy Partners, E2 Energy Services, Connect Midstream, Goodnight Midstream, Producers Midstream, Silver Creek Midstream, TopSail Energy, Elevate Midstream, Culberson Midstream and Tailwater Technical Holdings.

Prior to co-founding Tailwater Capital, Mr. Downie was a Partner with HM Capital and served on the Investment Committee. He joined HM Capital from Rice, Sangalis Toole and Wilson, a mezzanine private equity firm, where he was an Associate. Prior to Rice, Sangalis Toole and Wilson, Mr. Downie was an Associate in the Equity Trading Group with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, responsible for energy and transportation. He earned both a BBA and an MBA from UT at Austin.
